My name is Ron Sager and I am the owner of Sager Healthy Homes in Farmington Valley. I have been involved with the company since its creation in 2013. I have spent the last 30 years working in the building supply industry for Rogers Sash and Door Company of Newington, Connecticut. My customer base at Rogers offered me a wide array of situations in which to test our mold/allergen products prior to their release with Sager Healthy Homes. This hands on testing has given me a significant knowledge base with our products. Our safe, natural and cost effective products create a healthier and safe environment for you and your family.

Sager Healthy Homes did a phenomenal job remediating the mold issue our basement. Ron responded quickly, within the same day, and had a team member at my house within three days. Always Felt Looked Out For From a Genuine Place of Concern

I am beyond happy with the results that came from Sager Healthy Homes. My story began almost a year ago when an air test performed showed we had mold in our home. My husband did some initial research on how to handle mitigating the mold. He was not happy with the few so called experts he spoke to until he met Ron through a google search. From that first phone call, my husband could see the difference in professionalism and genuine caring for his clients.

My symptoms I had been experiencing was severe allergy attacks on a daily basis which improved if I left my home. This was the hardest part because I was beginning to hate my home which was heartbreaking. Ron offered a suggestion for a Naturopath who specializes in mold detox for one’s body. Dr. Marina Franzoni was also instrumental in my journey. I would highly suggest her as well as she helped with getting things better for me in the meantime while we awaited remodeling.

Over the next several months, 6 to be exact, we had many phone calls with Ron about how to move forward and after a remodel of the bathroom, we had Ron come in to mitigate the mold in the air and on surfaces. Since I wasn’t present the day they came in, I don’t know exactly what they did but they effected all 3 floors in our home with their products and from that day forward I have not had any allergy issues now for a couple months post mitigation.

There is so much more to my story on how my body healed in addition to the house getting well. Ron’s suggestions and advice on how to keep up the mold free home has been invaluable to us.

I Can’t Say Enough Great Things

Ron Went Above and Beyond
As a new homeowner, my three-year-old daughter and I moved into, what we thought, was going to be a wonderful new chapter of our lives. Our excitement dwindled as we began to experience issue after issue, as well as, peculiar health symptoms. My $500K listing that was only on the market for a week, I get a call from an agent that had just brought their buyers through the house informing me that a piece of the popcorn ceiling had fallen to the floor in the basement and there was mold on the ceiling. Keep in mind the house had not been lived in for 5 months so the dehumidifiers were not on and the smell in the basement for month of April was getting increasing strong since we were having April rains and warmer temps. I called my seller immediately who is living out of state and advised we need to get Ron Sager in the house. He is who we use in our industry to get basements in the same condition as the main level period. Ron was prompt as usual and met me the next day. I am writing to very highly recommend Sager Healthy Homes for Mold Remediation Services. I was in a situation where I needed to have the basement of my home remediated for mold in a very short time frame. I contacted Sager Healthy Homes on a Friday, Ron Sager came to inspect my home that Saturday and provided me with a quote that very same day. Such extraordinary customer responsiveness is difficult to find. How very pleased I was to see that the quote provided by Sager Healthy Homes was 50 to 80% LESS than two other quotes I had received. Further, Sager Healthy Homes uses all natural ingredients and did not need to remove any construction materials as had been recommended in the other quotes. The bottom line, however, is in the results. The mold remediation was completed within 4 days of first contacting Sager Healthy Homes and a subsequent mold test showed that our basement was essentially mold free. Ron Sager Provides an Excellent Service!
We grew concerned about mold in our house (particularly our basement). Ron arranged for an independent non biased testing service to test our house so that there was no conflict of interest. Our basement showed potentially dangerous levels of mold. Our other big problem was 25 years of detritus that had also built up over the years in our basement. Ron offered solution to both our problems. Ron offered and was able to help us clean out tons of garbage from our basement prior to the mold killing treatment. He arranged for a dumpster and had a crew of 4 guys come and within one day cleaned out our entire basement, cleaned all surfaces, vacuumed the floors and then used the environmentally safe mold killing fog to finish the job. Ron was the perfect professional, always prompt in communication (and patient with our many delays prior to treatment) and we offer him only the highest recommendation.

Ron Sager was trustworthy, prompt, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. I am a mold sensitive individual and brought Ron in to mold issues in a new home purchase. High mold levels were found in the basement as well as an area of rot on the outside of the home where we needed consultation. He became part of a team along with an inspector and a builder who worked together to figure out why the rot was occurring and the best solution to treat the area and prevent the issue from occurring in the future. Ron Sager's company came to get rid of the mold in my Mom's house. The mold was not visible to me but was definitely there as the smell permeated the whole house. The carpet was awful, even after regular carpet cleaning. Ron came in and hepa cleaned the carpet and all of the soft surfaces. He wiped down the walls, fogged the house and so much more. Late this past summer of 2021, we found a very serious mold problem in the very humid basement of our West Hartford home. With multiple referrals from a Facebook “Friends and Neighbors of West Hartford” group, I reached out to Ron Sager and his mold remediation business. Ron came over to analyze our problem and laid out a plan to get rid of all of our basement mold, check the rest of the house for mold and then went forward with a plan to keep the humidity in our basement down to a point where we should never see mold again. After Hurricane Henri hit we developed a serious mold problem in our basement. The mold had probably been present for a number of years but it bloomed and became quite noticeable. I reached out to a realtor friend of mine and without hesitation she immediately recommended Ron Sager and his company Sager Healthy Homes. I called Ron and was surprised and delighted when he answered his phone immediately. He said he could come out the next day....another surprise, and do an assessment. He arrived promptly and investigated my entire house. He discovered we also had a problem in our walk up attic. He then recommended an independent testing company who also promptly came out and took samples. Both men made recommendations that we could implement in our home immediately that would inhibit mold from gaining a foothold in our home after remediation. As a local realtor, I rely on Ron and Sager Healthy Homes for quite a bit! Ron saved my customers, who found burst pipes in their parent's vacant home. The finished basement was a mess!! The company owner has been extremely patient through an unusual and unique process of being hired and paid. I would recommend them to anyone who needs assistance. We contacted Ron for mold remediation in our attic after it was found on a house inspection. He was excellent. He was very responsive and picked up on the first ring! He also followed back up promptly with an estimate and was able to schedule us very quickly. He and his crew were professional, courteous, and thorough.
